| Sand Flats Orchard Group Tours Come Visit the Farm We would like to invite your group to spend a few hours or more, less if you have to, here at Sand Flats Orchard. WHEN: Monday - Friday (by appointment) September - October TIME: 9:00 – 11:00 or 11:30 – 1:30 WHAT TO DO: A hay ride around the 100 acre farm, through the pumpkin patch, corn field, soybeans and a view of the valley from the peak of the land. Find your way around a 6 acre corn maze, answer questions as you go. Take a walk through the apple orchard. Pick 2 or 3 apples. See the animals Stay a little longer and bring a picnic lunch (inside or outside we have picnic tables) Your basic visit will include; a hay ride tour of the farm, a hunt through the 6 acre corn maze and a walk through the orchard where you will pick 2 or 3 apples for their bag. $5.00 per person. Add to your visit - Pick a small pumpkin from the patch, have a glass of apple cider, an apple cider donut when the baker is in. $7.00 per person. Topics for discussion – apple facts, pumpkin, corn and soybean facts, estimation and mental math, problem solving and much more. We have plenty of parking. Restrooms are available.
